1. Who provides the service
AtDotCo is a service from FC Ecommerce Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 15916764, with registered office at 2A Connaught Avenue, London, E4 7AA. References to “AtDotCo”, “we” or “us” mean FC Ecommerce Solutions Ltd.
These terms are intended for farriers obtaining a website for their trade or business. If the law treats you as a consumer in a particular circumstance, nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. What the service includes
The core package is a managed farrier website using the current AtDotCo template. It ordinarily includes home, about, prices and contact pages; a mobile-friendly layout; publication of the business details you supply; initial website and DNS setup; access to manage published services and prices; and reasonable support through the portal.
The service is intentionally a focused managed template rather than a general website builder. Bespoke design, substantial new functionality, additional domains, mailboxes or work outside the advertised package may require a separate quotation.
Examples and demo content illustrate the template. Your finished website will use the information, imagery and domain agreed for your business.
3. Orders, prices and payment
The current core price is £100 setup, including the first month of service, followed by £14.99 per month. An optional custom domain mailbox adds £5 per month. AtDotCo is not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not added to these displayed prices.
Your checkout and order confirmation identify the amount applying to your order. A contract begins when we accept the order and the setup payment is confirmed. If we cannot accept the order, we will explain why and arrange any payment reversal that is due.
The monthly Direct Debit is arranged after the website has been prepared and launched. The first monthly collection is scheduled for one month after launch. You are responsible for keeping valid payment arrangements in place while the service continues.
If subscription pricing changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice. You may contact us before the new price takes effect if you do not wish to continue.
4. Domains, DNS and email
You must provide an accurate domain choice and confirm that you are entitled to use any existing domain. Availability checks are indicative until a domain is successfully registered. Domain registration, renewal or transfer may also be subject to the registrar's terms and fees.
Where AtDotCo supplies and manages a new domain, registration and renewal are charged separately from the monthly website subscription. Registrar and registry prices can change. We obtain the current renewal price, add the displayed domain administration charge and email you before expiry. The registrar renewal is only submitted after renewal payment has been confirmed. If payment is not completed in time, the domain may expire and the website or associated email may stop working. Registration and renewal orders are generally non-refundable once submitted to the registrar.
Moving an existing domain to AtDotCo-managed DNS does not automatically copy an old website, mailboxes, subdomains or other DNS services. You must tell us about anything that needs preserving. We will explain the nameserver change, but cannot be responsible for an undisclosed service that stops because its records were not identified and recreated.
Third-party domain, DNS and email providers may experience outages or impose technical and acceptable-use rules outside our control. We will provide reasonable assistance with services included in your package.
5. Business information and content
You are responsible for ensuring that names, addresses, contact details, service areas, qualifications, prices and other information supplied to us are accurate and lawful. Qualifications may be checked before publication. You must have permission to use any logo, photograph, wording or other material you provide.
You retain ownership of your original business content. You grant us permission to store, adapt and publish it as reasonably required to provide the website and directory listing. We retain ownership of the AtDotCo platform, software, template, code and materials created independently of your supplied content.
You must not use the service for unlawful, misleading, infringing, abusive or harmful material, or attempt to compromise the portal or another customer's service.
6. Updates and support
You may update service categories and prices through the customer area. Wording or template changes can be requested through the portal contact form and are handled personally by the developer operating the service.
Reasonable changes within the managed template are included in ongoing support. A request amounting to a redesign, a new feature or substantial additional content may fall outside the package; if so, we will discuss the scope and any charge before carrying out that work.
We may make technical, security or design improvements to the shared template. We will avoid materially reducing the core service without good reason.
7. Suspension and ending the service
To ask to end the monthly service, use the portal contact form or email [email protected]. We will confirm the effective date, any amount still due and what will happen to the website, DNS, domain and optional mailbox. Fees already due remain payable; any refund entitlement depends on the work completed, the order circumstances and applicable law.
We may suspend or end a service for non-payment, unlawful or harmful use, a serious breach of these terms, a security risk, or where a required third-party service can no longer lawfully or reasonably be provided. Where practical, we will explain the problem and give an opportunity to put it right.
Before ending the service, you should request any business content or DNS information you need. Continued domain registration and third-party services may require separate arrangements.
8. Service availability and responsibility
We use reasonable care and skill in providing the service. Websites and third-party networks can nevertheless experience maintenance, outages, attacks or events outside reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular search-engine position, volume of enquiries or business result.
You remain responsible for professional services supplied to your clients, price quotations, appointment decisions and compliance with requirements applying to your farriery business. The website provides business information and is not a substitute for professional assessment.
Neither party excludes responsibility where the law does not permit it, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect loss or loss caused by inaccurate customer content, undisclosed existing DNS services, misuse of an account or events outside reasonable control.
9. General terms
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. You may not transfer the agreement without our written agreement; we may transfer it as part of a genuine transfer or reorganisation of the service, provided this does not reduce your legal rights.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. We encourage you to contact us first so that a complaint can be handled directly.
We may update these terms to reflect legal, security or service changes. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be communicated with reasonable notice.
Questions or complaints can be sent through the contact form or to [email protected].
